Excellent！ I can’t even describe to you how much I enjoyed this one。 What an amazing story。 I saw this on audible but to be honest， I had seen it months ago on Instagram and forgot about it！ Being free in audible plus it drew my attention and since I’ve read lutrell， Murphy and a few other books that mention the redwings mission， and also loving all things Ranger Regiment， I was completely interested in this one。 Dr。 Brooks gives a brief summary of himself and his ranger experience which is alwa Excellent！ I can’t even describe to you how much I enjoyed this one。 What an amazing story。 I saw this on audible but to be honest， I had seen it months ago on Instagram and forgot about it！ Being free in audible plus it drew my attention and since I’ve read lutrell， Murphy and a few other books that mention the redwings mission， and also loving all things Ranger Regiment， I was completely interested in this one。 Dr。 Brooks gives a brief summary of himself and his ranger experience which is always fun for me to hear。 He has such sweet and honest humor regarding himself and poking fun at his analytical personality， I found it endearing。 It’s not overly complicated in military jargon， I basically just felt like he was telling a really tough and important War story。 He was not afraid to say he was scared and how difficult the mission of recovering bodies was， and I didn’t feel like he was being a pussy about it。 Just real。 The last chapter or so， he gives some really good insights about the state of the country and how he feels about freedom and I’ll give you a hint。。 I agree with him。 Super book。 。。。more

I found myself completely taken in by Dr。 Tony Brooks words， into a world and time， with compassion， humor， and a new perspective on the special ops mission Operation Red Wings II， as well as his journey into becoming a Ranger and everything it takes to be the best。 His first-hand account of the recovery is a basket full of emotions and an in-sight of how these kids （in my opinion） in a horrific event show all the respect， courage， honor， perseverance， and patriotism （both physically and emotion I found myself completely taken in by Dr。 Tony Brooks words， into a world and time， with compassion， humor， and a new perspective on the special ops mission Operation Red Wings II， as well as his journey into becoming a Ranger and everything it takes to be the best。 His first-hand account of the recovery is a basket full of emotions and an in-sight of how these kids （in my opinion） in a horrific event show all the respect， courage， honor， perseverance， and patriotism （both physically and emotionally） that most civilians will never come across in their lifetime。 A heart-wrenching story with all the humor， tears， and camaraderie that only warriors can comprehend and we as civilians can only try to understand。 It’s a must read！ 。。。more
